Hi,
My name is Lyndsie Dore. I just wanted to send out a job opportunity at a barn just outside Greensboro, NC. It is a lesson barn and they need someone to help feed and take care of horses, take care of farrier visits and vet visits. This person will also eventually start giving lessons. They have about 25 horses and about 20 lessons kids. The lady that is there now would like to eventually give all the lessons to this person. It's a good way to get some experience and give lessons. Good afternoon,
My name is Dr. E.C. Hart and I live in northern Virginia and operate a Thoroughbred breeding farm. We are looking for some young adults who are interested in pursuing a career in the Thoroughbred industry. I am an equine veterinarian and my wife and I have been in the business over 30 years. We have a 200 acre farm and usually have between 40 and 60 horses on the property. We breed for the commercial market and sell 30+ horses a year, mostly at the sales in Ky. We are true "hands on" owners and work side by side with the crew. It is a job opportunity for someone who could further his/her knowledge of the industry while gaining valuable experience from successful people who are willing to share their knowledge of the Thoroughbred world. Kate is a stunning 1997, 16.2hh bay Thoroughbred mare. She has a flowing trot and a rocking horse canter. She is a dream to ride on the flat and has professional dressage training. Kate is very personable on the ground, easy to work with, and has excellent manners. She has won at the A shows in the hunter divisions. Kate has a great work ethic but would be more suitable for an experienced rider over fences. She is honest and a dream to jump. Would be perfectly suitable for dressage, hunters, and foxhunting. Nevada Comet, or Dice as he's called at home, is a 12 year old, 15.3h, bay Thoroughbred cross gelding. He has a very sweet disposition and will be your best friend. He has very good manners and no vices. He trailers, bathes, clips, ties, stands for the farrier and is good with shots and worming. He is a very sturdy horse, always sound and is a beautiful, correct mover.
This horse is an amazing dressage prospect. He has competed through Novice level eventing with the potential to go higher. He is bold cross-country and jumps 3'6" with ease. He can be sensitive and is best suited for a confident rider.
A non-horse related back injury is forcing the sale of this terrific horse. A good home with references is a must.

12 year old bright bay TB mare, cute. Has done Novice CT, trails and foxhunted. Owner swamped in school work and can not ride 2 (horses). She is very quiet and exceedingly sensible for a TB. Won her BN division at Frying Pan Park this spring. Does turn out or not so much turn out.
