Instructor: Teresa McDonald

Teresa Little McDonald is the riding instructor and a full-time member of the Animal & Poultry Sciences Department at Virginia Tech. Ms. McDonald is an alumna of Radford College, where she competed in intercollegiate events as a Radford Redcoat and obtained a Master's degree. She is a certified instructor of the American Riding Instructor's Certification Program and the Fox Hollow Equestrian Center. Ms. McDonald has supervised riding programs at Radford College and Ferrum College and has been the senior instructor of the Virginia Tech equitation program since August 1994.

She now coaches the IHSA team at Tech.

Assistant Instructor / Barn Manager: Sherri Willis

Sherri Willis is the barn manager and assistant instructor at Campbell Arena. While attending Virginia Tech as an undergraduate student, Sherri was a zone finalist on the IHSA team and was a founding member of RadTech Equine Corporation which organized intercollegiate riding teams for both Virginia Tech and Radford University when they had no formal riding programs. More recently, Sherri has competed in local horse shows with the accomplishments of winning the SWVHJA Older Adult Medal Finals on two occasions.
